“Object-ive Creativity” is finding unique ways to interpret an ordinary object we could purchase cheaply at the store. Scissors were a unique challenge to pair with each category. I wrote down lists of everything scissors were associated with and the opiates as well. I looked at idioms that could be paired with the object and used every opportunity to compare the shape of scissors to the world around me, trying to push my ideas.
Experimenting with Adobe Photoshop on this project was insightful and I ended up improving some aspects of my design process as a whole.
